Disco

Living in a village of 1500 people means that I pretty much see the same people all of the time.  (Which for the most part is okay with me - I like 'em.)  This past Friday a few friends and I went to the bigger town next to us to check out one of the discos.  Apparently everyone else from the village had the same idea - and a whole lot of teenagers.  Either way, turns out it was a "Chalga club" which means they were only plying Bulgarian pop. I know about 4 of the songs. The DJ's also have a tendency to make commentary throughout the songs. Slightly annoying for some of us.

But for your enjoyment... the four I know.  (FYI, Bulgaria doesn't exactly have the censorship standards that the States do.  Consider this your warning for those with sensitive eyes.)

Either way, I really don't know what they're saying. It's kind of like when the BG's sing the American songs. I can only imagine what I sound like.

And for you PCer's who will be out here in a couple of weeks... get ready for the world of ЧАЛГА!
