FIRST of the LAST

Back by popular demand...

Today was my first last day of school! I can't believe it... I feel so old! DECEMBER 15-- I GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE! 8 o'clocks are going to do me in, I can already feel it! For example, I slept from 1-5ish this afternoon. Yes, I'm a bum, no need to emphasize that. I'm thinking about getting a job so that should count for something! Tomorrow I'll try to be productive. But as it is currently a quarter to one we'll see if it happens.

My new apartment is pretty sweet. I love living by myself. It's quite enjoyable. Pictures will soon come. I realized I probably look like an international student since I have my Welsh flag hanging up on my patio door and when my blinds are open you can see it! Awesome!

Well, rushes have already started. Ah DT! Not much to say about that... everyone knows how it goes.

Imagine the pain.... it's pretty sick and I wanted to share it with all of you!

And a complete sidenote that I want to share: "Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or as a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives." Galations 5:25 (The Message)

Hey, Veeves,
Thanks for posting and for the great wedding pix. I had not seen those and they really are great of all of you. I hope you can give us a bit of news about school and classes on a fairly regular basis. And how's that foot gash healing up? thank goodness it didn't ruin your pedi, which still looks fine. Be in touch when you're able...lylaf, the mom

Valerie,

I never thought I would consider the first last day of school a milestone. However, it is a great day for my pocketbook. No more college tuition, books and fees. Only three more months of rent and I will become free of the burdens of college students. Maybe your mom and I will take a vacation. Oh, I forgot, I'm broke.

Take advantage of this last semester. Enjoy establishing the relationship of life long friends. A person is not measured by their success, rather the friendships they have established.

How is the cut on your foot? Enjoy the sympathy you receive, it may not last long.

Blessings Val!

I know this semester will flyyyy by! Living alone definitley has huge perks, I think.

Keep your heart to tender to all you took in this summer...share your experience every opportunity...pray for the Lord to bring you the people who REALLY want to hear the deep story of what happenend around you and in you! It's a great story!!!

Well happy last first day of school! I at least think it's a milestone. And the dress seemed to work - although I want to see a full body shot. And yep - you should have gone for stitches...if only I'd heard my phone! And I'm with Suzy - enjoy living by yourself. One of these days I'm going to have to try it!
