The highlight of the week would be the Bansko Internation Jazz Fest. On Tuesday I went with Eva (in the rain) and we heard three great groups. A name I don't remember, JazzEx, and Candy Dulfer. Lady rocked out. She reminded me of myself during my jazz band days. Or not at all. :)
Still practicing my Bulgarian picture face. Obviously, I'm not good at it.
Candy Dulfer
Went again on Thursday but spent all day in Bansko with 3 other PCV's. There was an American, Jamie Davis, performing so we met up with one of the Embassy workers. Thursday was a good day... and I think it was the only day it didn't rain this week!
Eva, me, Kellen (another PCV)
That's all I got. Except for another recipe:
Palachinki
It's kind of like crepes... or a very thin pancake. And very easy.
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Tbs Oil
- Pinch of salt, pinch of sugar
- 1.5 cups Milk
- 1 cup Flour
Mix.
Oil skillet, turn stove on high.
Ladle batter into hot skillet.
Flip over when side one is cooked.
When done, fill with Nutella, fruit, jam, peanut butter, etc.
(If the palachinka is too fat, add milk. If the palachinka has holes, add flour to the mix.)
