few more days

I had plans for pictures on this entry but with the untimely death of my computer and Meg stealing my flash drive... it ain't gonna happen.

We had our LPI today - Language Proficiency Interview. Not nearly as bad as we all thought it would be. By PC standards, we have to hit the "Intermediate Low" mark. Our group feels pretty confident that'll happen. I'm even more happy that it's over with.

Speaking of getting things over with, let's talk about training. On Friday all 62 of the PC Trainees in Bulgaria will become PC Volunteers. Sweet. It'll also be sweet to not be in language class 6 days a week. I think we've got the survival skills down. Then on Saturday, I'll be packed and Emi and Kiril will drive me to my new home 5 hours away from Kravoder! (Maybe I wasn't paying attention in the beginning but I found out last night that my village name translates into "Cow Valley." Fitting.) Kind of bittersweet... Glad to be done with training but sad to be leaving my family. They're the best.

Pictures later.
